Lexer, one of our absolute favourites, and playing at Le Jardin d’Hiver next Winter, made a new podcast! Supporting the remix PingPong made of last year’s Le Jardin/Pearls of Eargasm’s anthem Les Aventures Magiques. That’s a lot in one sentence, we know. Just enjoy this awesome set.

Micha, a.k.a. KlangKünstler, beats up your day with his latest track Barfuss auf Wolken. Robin Schulz integrated it in his newest set Es geht uns gut. Definitely mooooore than worth listening to, too!
In the beginning, there was Jack, and Jack had a groove. And from this groove came the groove of all grooves. And while one day viciously throwing down on his box, Jack boldy declared: "Let there be HOUSE!" and house music was born. "I am, you see, I am the creator, and this is my house! And, in my house there is ONLY house music. But, I am not so selfish because once you enter my house it then becomes OUR house and OUR house music!" And, you see, no one man owns house because house music is a universal language, spoken and understood by all. You see, house is a feeling that no one can understand really unless you're deep into the vibe of house. House is an uncontrollable desire to jack your body. And, as I told you before, this is our house and our house music. And in every house, you understand, there is a keeper. And, in this house, the keeper is Jack. Now some of you who might wonder, "Who is Jack, and what is it that Jack does?" Jack is the one who gives you the power to jack your body! Jack is the one who gives you the power to do the snake. Jack is the one who gives you the key to the wiggly worm. Jack is the one who learns you how to walk your body. Jack is the one that can bring nations and nations of all Jackers together under one house. You may be black, you may be white; you may be Jew or Gentile. It don't make a difference in OUR House. And this is fresh.

Great choice of tracks for this one! While listening, I rewinded a few times to hear some sounds again. Her name is Sabine Heumann and yes, she’s a female dj. And a good one. Less vocals, but full of deep basses and a bit of a dark, soulful element : )
At about 1950, it was no longer self-understood that a sound is a sound, because the idea to compose the sounds themselves came up, as a result we might say, of the historical development [...]. And it took a little step to have the idea to compose a single sound, to synthesize a sound. [...] One by one, I became aware that a sound is not just a sound [...]. The classical instrumentation up to the present day, [which] was the instruments which we can name , has been an art of mixing. Whenever we hear sounds we are changed, we are no longer the same, after having heard certain sounds. And this is the more the case when we hear organized sounds. Organized by another human being, music. Karlheinz Stockhausen (from the lecture "Four Criteria of Electronic Music" (May 6, 1972)
Started in December 2012, this German dj/producer has a real passion for music. His deep & tech house set Leben Lieben Lachen starts with The XX and contains also classics of Eric Clapton and Eagle Eye Cherry. I am so fond of the Love Lost remix of The Temper Trap! :… Read More →
